This is a “Don’t Miss” Thank You Note from Central African Republic

Please take the time to read this thank you note from Bangul, Central African Republic.  The Pastor has written such a beautiful report, and it soothes my soul to see that these dresses are going out as little Ambassadors in the name of Jesus.  Sometimes it is easy to get caught up in the making of the dresses and forget their real purpose.  I am so delighted to see that this group has received them in the spirit in which they were sent.  If you ever get overwhelmed, remind yourself with this reading, that you really are making a difference in a lot of little lives.  Thank you for all you do and thank you for staying faithful to this ministry.  Love, Rachel

BANGUI, Central African Republic

 Dear Rachel, greeting!

We are very very grateful to Little Dresses for Africa which provides a precious and an impacted relief to vulnerable, street, indigenous children and AIDS pandemic orphans of Africa, particularly in Central African Republic.  Honestly speaking, this first gesture of Christ’s love has reached LDFA objectives to the highest social and spiritual level one can imagine.

In fact, we received ten (10) boxes of dresses and shorts and everybody felt very comforted and excited about the gift. Some children knelt down to thank the Lord for you. It was a real dream. These dresses and shorts have brought hope in the hearts of many abandoned children to understand more that they are worthy and that Jesus loves them and that they have a family abroad that loves them and praying for them. Many lives have been restored and transformed. Truly, hope has been planted forever in the lives the kids.

We gave five boxes to five different Evangelical churches in charge of vulnerable children and orphans (Eglise Evangélique Béthanie, Eglise Baptiste Bangui-Ville de Banguassou, Eglise Baptiste Centre 4, Eglise Assemblée de Dieu, Eglise CEEC de Zémio) here in Bangui, capital city and in the countryside during my outreach missions. CEERCA INT’L has distributed two (2) boxes and we have kept three (3) boxes to distribute in two orphanages in days to come. We would like to mention that the distribution of the dresses and shorts was done publicly in churches and the news were broadcast on the two main radio stations thanks to two journalist that I invited to take part of the distribution. We made it an event in Bangui, explained what is LDFA and the objectives of your organization.  Before any distribution (as you can see in some of our pictures) we took time to present God’s love in Jesus and the large family we have in Him that is beyond frontier to the children first. Then, we asked the children to pray for you and bless you. It was great to see the way children are happy and to hear the kind blessings they are addressing to the Lord on your behalf.

We were called for a special distribution of the dresses on the radio for one hour at the end of this month, when we will visit the two orphanages. We will go along with some journalists. It has been great to see the way your gifts have impacted the indigenous people, the society and churches here. Praise the Lord!

Our fervent prayer is that the Lord blesses you all and opens more doors for you. May the Lord provide for your need to spread more this vision for God’s glory. Africa is a continent of all kind of trouble in the world. Central African is one of the poorest countries in the world. So, poverty, ignorance, hunger, AIDS/HIV and war are part of our lives here and it is a pity. Many have lost hope in such a context.

Please, pray again and again for Central African Republic and particularly for children to know Jesus and bring the hope that can value them.

Thank you very much for helping us. Thanks to all those supporting and praying LDFA activities. Thanks to all the volunteers and auctioneers who are engaged to serve the Lord under the LDFA ministries. May the Lord of provision bless you more and more according to Psalm 41:1-3 and Hebrews 6:10. (1) Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.” (2)  “God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.”

Please, receive here gratitude and acknowledgements from all the Central African Children who have been blessed by your kind expression of true love.

Someday, we will be very pleased to be visited by LDFA members here in Bangui. This is our fervent prayer and hope. We beg all LDFA prayer partners to pray for this invitation. May the Lord bless them all.

In love and blessings!
