I hope this message finds you doing well. I just returned from Batey Cuchilla. This is our poorest Batey in the DR and we decided to distribute the dresses through Carina, one of the members of our Club Agua hygiene youth group.
This morning Yesenia and I drove out to Carina’s house and set up shop in her front yard. Earlier in the week she made a list of 44 little girls who were then invited to receive a dress today. It was a great event and everyone was very thankful for the wonderful generosity of the ladies in the United States. I’ve attached a few photos. Please tell all the ladies involved Thank You from all of us at WWR and also the girls of Batey Cuchilla!

Hi Rachel…. Here are some forwarded email and pictures I thought you would like to read and see…Aren’t these little girls and dresses just darling? Wynnell and I started showing the “Dorcas” sistersin St. Simmons Island, Georgia how to make the dresses and the Dorcas Group really get the dressesgoing.. They are such a good group of retired ladies that do so much for their community and for peoplearound the world and their sewing skills are remarkable… Our Quilt Group up here in York Countyhas given them yards and yards of fabric and lace, etc. and they certainly make good use of it… Theyare continually sewing all the time…Hope you enjoy the pictures and emails as much as I have… Gail, Rock Hill, S.C.
I wanted to share photographs of the distribution of the dresses by our in-country team leader, Steffani Fields. I think the pictures are worth a thousand words, and as you know, generosity like yours truly makes a difference in the lives of these sweet-natured children. I feel very comfortable speaking for them and saying that they will LOVE wearing the dresses and will wear them often! Thank you so much for your continued support of World Water Relief.
