Container 2015 On It’s Way To Malawi

We are so excited to share that the 40ft Container that is the result of all of your donations and generosity from our “Christmas in July” campaign is loaded and on its way to Africa.  We put a push out for plastic plates so that the children can bring them to the feeding centers and they are sturdy enough to have them walk back to eat their food.  We asked for a few hundred and we got over a thousand.  We asked for a wheelchair for little Jorge, crippled since birth so he can continue to go to school and we got EIGHT wheelchairs to bless the people of Africa.  We sent bikes, 1000 pairs of shoes, thousands of little dreseses, shorts and items for the Dignity Program.  We sent kitchen utencils and pans and toiletries, medical supplies and on and on.  The list is amazing and so is your generosity. Big thanks for the donations and special thanks for the strong backs and willing hearts that showed up to load these items into the container both Friday and Saturday.  The Jephthah School of Hope will benefit from the textbooks and desks (donated by the Trenton Schools in Michigan), the individual chalk boards for the students and so many school supplies that they are impossible to list.

There was an unmistakable energy and excitement as we worked together.  We are so grateful for the turn out and how well we worked together to share our blessings.  Enjoy the pictures and thank you so much.  We will update you when the shipping container arrives in Malawi!  God bless you!  Love, Rachel
