With the overwhelming response of the beautiful dresses, comes an overwhelming responsibility to continue to get them to the children. We send them with mission teams, mail them and take them ourselves. Boxes cost close to $100 to ship but the good that they do, is well worth it. It is through your generous donations that Little Dresses for Africa is able to pay for the supplies and shipping of the little dresses to Africa.
Our favorite way to get the dresses there are to take them ourselves! In September of 2010, we will be returning with a team of 12 to personally distribute thousands of your little dresses for the little girls and shorts for the boys. While we are there, we teach, encourage and play with the children and their care-givers. Little Dresses for Africa is a non-profit organization and all individuals involved are volunteers. 100% of your donations go to the children of Africa. Thank you for your help.
