Sewing With Nancy
We continue to be grateful for our amazing partnership with Sewing With Nancy. Beautiful dresses continue to flow in as a result of our interview with Nancy in Nancy’s Corner on her show. The Snippet below came from one of her viewers:
The Maury County TN 4-H Pattern Piece 2 project group conducted a community service worshop on Feb 18, 2013. These young ladies decided to make “Little Dresses for Africa” their service project for tis year and set out to make pillow case dresses for children in need. They used the pattern and directions found on the Sewing with Nancy website….

When I saw your segment on “Sewing With Nancy” I thought, “Gosh! What a wonderful way to use up some of my fabric stash I inherited from my grandmother and mother in law.” …Thank you for the inspiration and all you do for the children

These little dresses wer made with love by members of the United methodist Women of First United Methodist Church in Wasahachie, TX. They were blessed in a special service with the hopes that those who wear them will be blessed.
These dresses were made by the local chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma International, Beta Phi, Located in East Tennessee. This organization is made up of women educators. We heard about your project last summer at a state meeting. Another chapter presented a workshop on how to make pillowcase dresses and passed along their pattern, tips and enthusiasm for Little Dresses for Africa. Thank you for letting us be part of this project. I will be sending a check to your organization to help with the cost of shipping.
