We passed a new mark yesterday, when we received a package from West Virginia, making it 46 states that have contributed dresses, supplies or money to the Little Dresses for Africa ministry. Anyone know anyone in the Dakota’s, Delaware or New Hampshire? Believe it or not, we have Hawaii and Alaska, which we thought would be the toughest. This is an amazing thing, and God continues to bless your efforts for the children.
We had 22 people last night at our 4th Thursday work night and you could feel the energy in the room as we all worked for a common goal. I have to say, we rocked it out last night! Our next work evening is at the house Feb 25 and we also have a work day planned at Metro South on Saturday, March 6th at 10am. We’d love to have you join us. (More pictures under Sewing Parties).
I just received a car full of pillow cases and flat sheets donated by the Comfort Inn of Livonia. If you are in the area, do business with generous people like this. If you need any of these supplies, please let me know through the contact page. The supplies are high quality and can be decorated or tie-dyed if you feel creative or sewn as is. Also, one of our great ambassadors for LDFA, Suette, has discovered a great place to buy inexpensive elastic and they get it to you right away: http://www.ctsusa.com/
Thanks, everyone! Love you!
