My favorite cousin, Natalie Daniel, recently died. She was a teddy bear collector and often set up extravagant “scenes” with her bears. She purchased many fabric remnants to use in these scenes. Not long ago, I was helping her sister go through some boxes of bear related stuff and, since I sew, I mentioned that I would be glad to take the remnants. I think I had in mind to just add them to mt stash, but while washing them yesterday, I realized that they were all big enough to actually do something with. And I remembered the story on the news about Little Dresses. I am sending 12 little dresses to you tomorrow. My cousin Nat would love that her fabric has a second life, and that little girls somewhere will have their very own new dresses. She really loved children.
