Greetings, Friends of Little Dresses!

I wanted to share with you a couple of thoughts today. I was working last night downstairs, getting things organized for our regular 4th Thursday work night. I was opening boxes and separating things to make it easier for us to get the work completed Thursday. I wish you all could see what I see. Boxes arrive from everywhere! They are filled with beautiful dresses for the girls and we are receiving more and more britches for the boys. The love stitched into them is so obvious! I love the notes that you include, too. I am getting more and more people who include a self addressed envelope, so I can let you know that I received them. More and more of you are sizing them before sending them. More and more of you are including checks to help with shipping costs. Although you are not obligated, any amount helps, and I am so thankful! I am so amazed by all your generosity. I love hearing your stories. Thank you for sharing them with me. I post as many as possible on the website under “snippets”. They are an encouragement to me and those that volunteer for the children. Thank you all so much.

Thank you for your patience with me. I know many of you try to call and I really do try to get back with you as soon as possible. If you don’t get through, please try again. Also, most of your questions are answered on this website. There is also a “Frequently Asked Questions” page that will help, so check it out. I just hate it that I can’t get back to you immediately, but trust me, I try! It’s almost always faster to send me an email through the “contact me” page or else to Rachel.oneill@littledressesforafrica.com.

The Nan Ray School of Learning continues to be completed. We are now raising funds for the schoolmaster’s house so our teacher can live in the Village as her payment. We will be collecting school supplies, playground equipment and primary textbooks for the 40ft container we hope to ship this fall. Send what you can!

Thanks again for everything that you do for these children.
Love and gratitude,

Rachel
